This approach consists of a series of exercises organized per stations to be consecutively performed for a predetermined time or number of repetitions, without breaks or with short breaks.

There is no rule on the number of exercises to be performed, a circuit can be composed of 3-6-9-12-15-20 different exercises-stations, as the number varies according to the programming or purpose. To perform the exercise sessions, both the time and the number of repetitions can be predetermined.

The exercises can be carried out with no weights, with small and large fitness equipment, strengthening and cardio fitness machines.

In a Circuit Training session, the muscles of the whole body are involved, the workouts are fast and produce a relevant aerobic benefit.

Circuit Training is suitable for those who want to train and can only commit for a short time, it can be programmed for the needs of the single person, with low or high impact exercises, with or without load and breaks, with few or many stations. For this reason, this form of training is suitable for young people and for the elderly, for sports or fitness professionals, as well as for those who haven't practiced sports for a long time and for the ones who are willing to start a weight loss program.
